Banitsa with spinach of Filo pastry

Banitsa is a Bulgarian pie filling. The dough can be prepared independently, but will have some trouble. If you are not confident in their culinary skills, buy it in the store

You will need:

– spinach — 0.5 kg;

– grated cheese — 100 g;

– butter or ghee — 2-3 tbsp. spoons;

– egg — 3 PCs;

– onions — 1 piece;

– parsley 5-6 sprigs;

– salt — to taste (keep in mind that cheese is salty enough);

– vegetable oil for frying;

– 1 package of phyllo dough;

– sour cream — 3 tbsp.

Cut onion finely and fry in vegetable oil in a frying pan, add spinach leaves, 50 ml of water and stew in a pan until soft — about 7-10 minutes. Drain, pushing leaves in a colander. Cheese grate, add finely chopped parsley, oil and eggs. Mix it all together.

The form vystelit parchment, the dough is spread on 4-6 layers. Spread the filling on the pastry layers, top layer put a small amount of filling, sprinkle grated cheese and grease with sour cream with herbs. Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh herbs.
